形態特徵

• Main stems erect, 12-35 cm tall, decumbent and rooting at base; lower third of stems without any or with very short leafy branches.
• Leaves dimorphic, spaced farther apart than their width, those on the lower plane unequal-sided, oblong-ovate, ciliate, acute at apex, auricled on one side, pointing outwards; those on the upper plane nearly equal-sided , ovate, ciliate, acuminate at apex; lateral branch leaves unequal-sided, oblong-ovate, ciliate, acute at apex, pointing outwards; median leaves unequal-sided, cordate, ciliate, long cuspidate at apex, auricled on one side, pointing upwards; axillary leaves nearly equal-sided, ovate, ciliate, acute at apex.
• Strobili borne on sides of leafy branchlets, 3-7 mm long; sporoplylls dimorphic, those on the lower plane nearly equal-sided, ovate-lanceolate, keeled, acuminate at apex; those on the upper plane lanceolate, ciliate, acuminate at apex. Microspores orange; megaspores pale yellow.
